Please understand that telemedicine is used only for selected consultations and medication management with patients who are in the state of Illinois. We are no longer able to do telemedicine appointments for patients who are out of the state.
The following symptoms are not eligible for telemedicine and require an in-office visit: ear pain, sore throat, upper respiratory infection, rash, headache, diarrhea, urinary symptoms, injuries, and well-child checkups.
Telemedicine visits are billed to your insurance just as an office visit and copays are due prior to the visit. We recommend you check your coverage with your insurance company prior to your appointment.
For the best telemedicine experience we recommend the following tips:
- Position yourself close to your WiFi source
- Close out extra tabs on your computer
- If using a cell phone or tablet, keep it propped up and stationary
- Use one of the following internet browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari
