COLLEEN KIRR, C.P.N.P.–P.C. was born and raised in Naperville, IL. She attended Naperville Central High School (Go Redhawks!) and began her collegiate career at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Illinois at Chicago in Urbana, IL. Colleen dual majored and received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health with a focus in Health Education and Promotion and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

After graduation, she began working in the Emergency Room at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. During her time in the ER, she decided to pursue her passion of working with children and went back to school. After four years in the ER, she transitioned to work at Rush-Copley Otolaryngology to complete her degree. Colleen received her Master of Science in Nursing from Rush University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care.

Colleen is married to James and they reside in Naperville. When she is not busy working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog Morgan. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and catching up on her favorite shows (The Blacklist, The Walking Dead, and anything HGTV to name a few). Colleen is delighted to be at ABC Pediatrics working in an environment that fosters evidence based practice and providing the best possible care for your child. She looks forward to meeting all the patients and families of ABC Pediatrics.
